Today Miss Ferguson challenged us to code the mbot to go around a racetrack. To do this the code needs to allow the mbot to sense the black line. When it can't find the line the mbot moves backwards and forwards until it corrects itself.
I really liked this activity and my fastest lap time 43.24 seconds. Mr Dunn taught some of us how to use a formula to work out the speed. My speed was 0.21 metres per second which meant I came in 7th.
Kia Ora Akuhata Im glad you enjoyed the coding session. You were quick to grasp the Maths and Physics of the session and saw how other learning areas can be connected with Robotics. Your use of computational thinking was next level. Do enjoy your end of term break.
