This week form music we practices some songs on the xylophones and some people went outside with ukulele and some people went onto the keyboard, when it was time to switch I went on the keyboard for one last time.

LI: To Write a poem about Felling

Today we learnt how to make a Diamante poem. A Diamante poem is when you have to topic at the bottom and the top and for each line you have to put in a different word like on the 2 line you have to write to adjectives. And i take a phone of the my score.

Duffy

Today we the school went to the hall to have a Duffy assembly, we were visited by Robert Rakete/The brown wiggle, and a main freight worker named Ollie. They give as the class books.

 Ollie  he is a friend of Robbie Rakete. and  Robbie Rakete made a song from the wiggles.

Writing

I only did the two top ones.
This week for writing we had to make a Building Longer Sentences.
I had to do a man walking in a hallway and a women walking their a green woods.

Term 1 kiwi can Overview

Today in kiwi can we recapped all of our learning from term 1. Our big theme was positive relationships. Our 3 modules were..

1. Positive communicate
2. Friendship
3. cooperation.  

We made 3 groups.Each group talked about the 5 W's &H for 1 module.

After we talked as a group,Each Group shared their ideas back to the class.

• The one thing that i like it this term was Positive communicate.
•  The thing that i learnt was Friendship so if you are lift out you can make them play with you and you can make them your Friend to.
• The thing that i had to work on respect.

 This week for reading we had to make Summarising docs for making Sentences so we can video on flipgrid.

kiwi sport

L.I to learn how to play the proper Ki O rahi game.

For Kiwi sport we player the proper version of ki o rahi. We had to apply all the learning we did to play the full game Ki o Rahi. We had two of the teams which are Taniwha and Kioma. Kioma wears yellow tags and Taniwha wears Red tags.

In Music we had learnt about how to play the ukulele and we played One call away. Andrew,Hosea,Chris,Sione T,and me.I had lost of fun on the key bored and i just listed to the music.

Poetry is a text for communicating ideas and expressing feelings to people.

Poetry can include sound patterns. They are rhyme and rhythm.

rhyming is repeating sounds in words.

There are four kinds of rhyme: consonance,end rhyme,alliteration, and assonance.

consonance is a sound of letters and words.

end rhyme is the end of a sounds.

alliteration is the beginning of a letter.

assonance is a vowel sound.

LI:To Build positive Relation ships
Today for kiwi can we were leaning about friendship. We learnt that there are times we can say NO! We discussed different way to say no that don't cause disrespect. We did a activity called empathy role play. A group acted out a situation and as a class we needed to decide the way to say no.
Our options were;

• No Thanks
• Let do something else instead
• Its just not my thing 
• that's not a nice thing to do.
